Chef Barbie, the Cafe’s head chef and owner, explains that the name Whisk comes from the fusion style cooking of the food itself. Whisk symbolizes the act of bringing together different Asian flavors, specifically, from Chinese, Japanese, and Filipino cuisine.

Admittedly, narrowing down our Whisk favorites into just 5 dishes was quite a feat! But here are the best of the best:

5. Whisk’s Spicy Wings (P205)

This is Whisk’s take on the all-time favorite Buffalo Wings. This version, however, is seasoned with a classic Asian spice, Sriracha. These wings really pack a punch, it is a good mix of tangy, sweet, and just the right amount of spicy.

4. Tofu Steak (P175)

You won’t believe that this dish is entirely vegetarian! That’s right, folks! Whisk does their own version of a stir-fry Tofu Steak complete with an amazing mushroom sauce. I never knew that anything completely vegetarian could taste this good.

3. Salmon and Soba Salad (P295)

Chef Barbie’s personal favorite! This salad is light and filling. The soba noodles stay true to the classic Japanese flavor (they’re also served cold!) and the soba and greens pair well with the crunchy seared Salmon chunks.

2. Seared Salmon in Teriyaki Sauce (P360)

A bit on the pricier side but let me tell you—this dish is amazing! Hands down my favorite item off Whisk’s menu. The Salmon is seared to perfection. It’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Salmon is served with vegetable fried rice (essentially gourmet yang chow) and some greens. For me, this dish is the real winner. A perfect 10/10!

And last but most definitely not the least, at number one, we have…*drumroll*

1. Lindt Chili Chocolate Cake (P185 per slice)

A dessert that is not for the faint of heart. If you’re a chocolate fan, this one’s for you! A rich and decadent chocolate cake with a chili kick. The ganache on this cake is so fudgey! Give this dessert a try, you won’t regret it!
