Westbrook is now tied with Robertson for most triple doubles in single season

Russell Westbrook is chasing history and he’s one stat-stuffing game away from making a new record.

In the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 110-79 rout of the Milwaukee Bucks, Westbrook finished with 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists to give him his 41st triple-double of the season.

His 41 triple-doubles now ties the record Oscar Robertson set in the 1961-62 season.

Westbrook is also en route to becoming the first NBA player who’s 6-3 or shorter to ever average more than 10 rebounds per game for a whole season.

The Thunder have five more games before the regular season ends, so Westbrook has enough time to establish a new record.

Do you think Westbrook can break the Big O’s record in that span?
