We’ve been testing out the JBL Spinner BT and the JBL Authentics speakers, and here’s what we love about them.

JBL Spinner BT review

First of all, it’s so beautiful! An elegant piece that could elevate a room whether it’s playing or not. Take a closer look and you’ll see the sophistication even in the details. The JBL Spinner BT is designed with a die-cast aluminum platter and tonearm, a black MDF plinth, a gorgeous, minimalist front panel with a black and gold JBL logo, and a transparent dust cover that protects but doesn’t hide the turntable’s beautiful design.

But the JBL Spinner BT is not just about the looks. What we love most about this is its delicious sound that, simply put, is smooth like butter. Its clear, balanced audio was a pleasant surprise, and once we started playing records, on it, we couldn’t stop. This is the only way we want to listen to our favorite albums from now on!

Remember the JBL Spinner BT’s die-cast aluminum platter we mentioned earlier? That’s not just for the aesthetic (although it’s pretty for sure). This actually helps reduce vibration for better groove tracking on the vinyl. It also helps keep tempo consistent (whether 33 ⅓ or 45 RPM), so expect perfect pitch each time.

And the JBL Spinner BT is so easy to set up and pair with a speaker. Just one push of a button (find the blue button at the back) and the device searches for another Bluetooth-enabled device. Once the blue light stops blinking, you’re good to go. Easy-peasy.

JBL Authentics review

To complete the experience, you can pair the JBL Spinner BT with the JBL Authentics. This new line of speakers is an homage to the iconic JBL LB100 speaker in the ‘70s.
