Celebrity couple Vin Abrenica and Sophie Albert surprised friends and followers last weekend when they dropped two amazing announcements: that they are getting married and that they are expecting their first baby together!
Amid the congratulatory messages and expressions of joy for the couple, some netizens couldn’t help but notice one particular photo that the two posted of their hands to show off Sophie’s sparkling diamond ring, where their contrasting skin tones were very evident.
Netizens proceeded to make lighthearted jokes about it and it seems that Vin couldn’t stay quiet any longer.
“What’s the commotion all about?” he wrote on a post. “Di ko maiwasang makita yung reactions and comments sa kamay ni @itssophiealbert kesyo sinasabi na
A. Sobra sa gluta
B. Anong brand ng sabon/lotion niya

He then cheekily added, “San ba banda dito ang Maputi? Hindi naman halata,” as he shared a heavily edited photo where Sophie is depicted to be glowing.
He also expressed gratitude to everyone for their “warm and sweet greetings.”
