If you’re single, there’s no reason for you to sulk in the corner and feel bad about other people having an awesome time on the 14th. You can have an awesome time too! You can splurge and date yourself or your friends and have a blast!
Whether you’re in relationship or single, and you want to do away with the traditional going out to dine in a restaurant or some other place on V-Day, here are some date ideas you can do without leaving the comforts of your home. Well, of course, if you’re in a relationship and you’re not living together, one will have to leave their place to go to the other person’s house. *wink wink*
10. Zen Day
Valentine’s Day can be about relaxing and unwinding. Ease out those sore muscles and have a spa day at home.
Buy scented candles or an aromatherapy diffuser to set the mood. Get a nice-smelling massage oil or gel. Prepare your favorite cup of tea. Call up your masseuse. Or maybe, you can be each other’s massage therapist. The egg timer comes in handy so you can take turns. No cheating.
9. Battle It Out in Virtual Reality
We heard that the best Final Fantasy just hit mobile before reaching Steam. So if you have a gamer SO, much like Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, you can download the game on Android and iOS with 20% discount until February 21.

8. Make Something “Tasty”

No SO? No problem. Indulge yourself with all the one-pot savory dishes you’ve been waiting to devour or those no-bake pastries to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Getting bored with your space? You can use your time on Valentine’s Day to redecorate your house. Get new stuff and throw old stuff. Or if you’re on a budget, just move around stuff.
If you want, you can even repaint your room to that color you’ve been wanting to have for a long time. Have fun. You can use your hands as paintbrush and be as creative as possible.
6. Checkmate!
There are a ton of board games you can play with SO. Chess, Scrabble, Jenga, Pandemic, Exploding Kittens… The list goes on and on and on.

A trend in crafts is doing calligraphy. Make your V-Day card personal by using your calligraphy skills and pouring out all your love on paper. If you’re single, “hugot” lines work well too.
4. Jam Session
Strum those guitars and bang those drums, and make live music together.
Record your performance and share it to the world via platforms like SoundCloud.

3. Camp in the Living Room
If you’re the outdoorsy type but want to spend the Valentine’s Day indoors (because Mt. Kiltepan might be too crowded), pitch your tent in the living room and camp. 2. Movie Marathon
