Here they are once again — the cast of beloved Nickelodeon teen show Victorious just had an online reunion party over Zoom in celebration of the show’s 10th anniversary, and I can’t help but get so emotional over it!
Victorious was among the many shows I made sure to watch every day when I was younger, so you can understand how attached I’ve become to its characters throughout the years it remained on-air. So it fills me with joy to know that they’re still close friends after all this time, especially with a few of them moving on to become a beloved Hollywood actress and a pop star icon (I’m referring to Elizabeth Gillies and Ariana Grande, of course).

It’s sad that because of quarantine rules, we won’t be able to see them all together again in one place—at least, not anytime soon. But hey, safety first during this time of a public health crisis! I just hope that maybe one day, show creator Dan Schneider and Nickelodeon will be able to give Victorious a proper ending after it was abruptly canceled in 2013. (We deserve to give Tori, Cat, Jade, Robbie, Beck, Andre, Trina, and even Mr. Sikowitz a proper goodbye!) But I guess this Zoom reunion will have to suffice.
In the meantime, I’ll go ahead and binge-watch all the episodes on Netflix, or play Ariana’s “Thank U, Next” music video on repeat.
