Venus Raj took to social media to share a heartwarming and enlightening story about the time she lost her wallet in a cab. In a lengthy Instagram post, she talked about riding a Grab to the salon, where she was busy doing personal admin tasks and transacting online using her card.
“Nothing is by accident. God is in every detail of our lives,” she wrote.
Before going into the details of the story, she first commended the Grab driver, Jeremy, for bringing him to the exact location of her destination after she found out that the app had brought them to the old location of the salon.

The beauty queen said she received a call from a random number a few minutes after she was dropped off, which she didn’t answer.
“Then I received a message from the same number saying that I left my wallet in the grab and she’s the passenger after me and she found it,” she added.
Venus was surprised to see that the woman was her churchmate, whom she described as a “sister in Christ.”
She continued, “I called her back immediately, talked to her while in awe of God’s amazing grace, she then put the phone on speaker and let me talk to the driver. I talked to Kuya Jeremy, thanked him, and gave him instructions. Immediately after bringing her to her destination, Kuya Jeremy brought my wallet back.”
The Miss Universe Philippines 2010 was in awe about what happened, she emphasized that it was God’s way of showing her that He guides her in “every single moment” of her life.
“It could have been a different passenger, why this Sister in Christ who knows exactly how to contact me? Kuya Jeremy did not know that I was his passenger because I was wearing a mask and I’m using my first name and middle name on the app. But he was honest enough to bring my wallet back, intact.”
Venus expressed her gratitude to God, Jeremy, and her “sister in Christ.”
“I’m sharing this to honor the Lord, and to thank Kuya Jeremy and my sister in Christ! Maraming salamat Kuya and Ate, pagpalain po kayo ng Panginoon,” she concluded.
