Fresh grad entrepreneur Anna Paulina Manalang launched Traviel in October 2016 out of passion and in order to express creativity in curating designs that will showcase the country’s natural resources and skilled craftsmanship. This young designer has an advocacy of true patriotism in making crafts. “I always had the vision of uplifting the Filipino craftsmanship in our country’s global aspirations and I wanted to continue doing that by redefining contemporary bags for the modern urbanite,” she shares.
That cute tortoise logo is a statement!
The brand name “Traviel” is a modern take on the tortoise – an urban traveler that carries its own compartment or “home”. That’s why the logo is a cute tortoise! Another great thing about their bags is that the materials used are consciously selected, made of animal-friendly leather from their local partners.
