The Tokyo Disney parks and Universal Studios Japan (USJ) will be closing down for a period of 2 weeks in order to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country.

(Philippines’ First Confirmed nCoV Case Now Tests Negative)
Oriental Land Co., operators of the Tokyo Disney Resort, and USJ LLC made the announcement this Friday. It follows an appeal from the Japanese government to cancel or postpone any big events for 2 weeks. The parks will be reopened on March 16, upon further consultation with government agencies.
The Tokyo Disney Resort has assured that it will be refunding guests for admission fees and hotel bookings. Disney park tickets will either be refunded or given an extension on the expiration date. Measures for annual passport holders are still being considered by the company.
There are over 900 coronavirus cases in Japan, with most of them tied to the quarantined cruise ship floating off of Yokohama. There have been 8 deaths from the virus so far.
