One of the legends of professional boxing turned 74 yesterday.
Known as “the greatest”, Muhammad Ali’s legacy in the boxing ring has lived on beyond his years, and even his quote “float like a butterfly, sting like a bee” can still be heard today.
Muhammad Ali took down the best heavyweight fighters of his time and  became the first man to win the heavyweight title three times and revolutionized the sport by introducing a style that went against many of the game’s sacred teachings.
As a way to celebrate Muhammad Ali’s birthday, here’s a video of his hallmark fights against another boxing great, Joe Fraizer, on October 1, 1975 that took place here in Manila, popularly known as the “Thrila in Manila”:
