‘The World Of The Married’ Beats ‘SKY Castle’, Now Holds Highest Drama Ratings in Cable TV History

Korean drama history has just been made! Just last week, the widely talked about Korean drama ‘The World of the Married’ had reached its highest viewerships ratings at the time. However, on May 2, it set a brand new record – this time for the highest viewership ratings of a drama in Korean cable network history.

Nielsen Korea has reported that the show’s latest episode reached an average rating of 24.33% nationwide. The previous record for the highest viewership ratings was held by ‘Sky Castle’, which reached an average rating of 23.78% in 2019.

The only cable network show that has reached a higher rating than this is the hit audition program ‘Mister Trot’, which reached an average rating of 35.7% in March.

The World of the Married

‘The World of the Married’ still has four episodes left during its run, so it still has a chance of breaking its own record and going even higher within the next few weeks. The way fans are raving about the show, we honestly think they’ll be able to do that.
