After a few months of not premiering anything new on its YouTube Channel, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Shows Must Go On! is streaming another Broadway musical for FREE this weekend!

The channel came back this October after a two-month hiatus beginning with a rerun of “The Phantom of the Opera” and then the recorded concert of Alfie Boe (who played Jean Valjean in “Les Misérables”) titled “Alfie Boe Live – The Bring Him Home Tour.”
This weekend, we’re getting “The War of The Worlds: Alive on Stage!” which is a full-length musical adaptation of H.G. Wells’s space-invaders novella of the same name.
The production to be aired features a star-studded cast, including Jason Donovan, Marti Pellow, Ricky Wilson, and Liam Neeson who narrates the production!
The War of the Worlds novel is a science fiction story that follows an unnamed protagonist in Surrey and his younger brother in London in their subsequent struggles as southern England is invaded by Martians.
