Tisa_Arte_De_T unveils her life’s journey as a self-taught artist in her first solo exhibit, “THE STAND”.
With a background as a texture artist in CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) and 3D animation, Tisa combines traditional and digital techniques to present her favorite subjects: animated caricature characters. Tisa’s art revolves around bold colors and exaggerated dimensions that are rendered with a cartoonish touch. They take the form of acrylic paintings and digital prints which reveal her views on life and society with wit and a certain sensitivity that only Tisa Arte_de_T can portray.
Curated by Nestor Vinluan, THE STAND will run from Saturday 27 June 2015 until Wednesday 22 July 2015 at Sining Kamalig Art Gallery in Ali Mall, Araneta Centre, Quezon City.
