Rhica Obien of The Rhicrafts is a miniature and clay artist that recently went viral because of her “tasty” works of art. She creates miniature versions of your favorite food and classic Pinoy dishes!

Obien shares with WhenInManila.com that she started creating miniature versions of food in 2014. After she and her husband lost their jobs, she wanted to create something that can make money while giving her time to watch their kids. So, she went with clay art and miniatures.

She shares that her favorite piece is her sari-sari store. It looks exactly like the traditional Pinoy store complete with all the miniature items inside! It’s so fun to see our childhood snacks in tiny versions. This mini sari-sari store has easily become our favorite, too!

Now, she’s also creating accessories featuring mini versions of your fave dishes. Her Pinoy food phone cases will definitely make people do a double-take when you’re out taking calls or taking selfies.
Some of the food she has immortalized on phone cases are taho, pork adobo, isaw, and hotsilog to name just a few. These phone cases will make you hungry, sure, but they’re super cute and attention-grabbing, too!
If you’re not into food-inspired phone cases, The Rhicrafts also creates accessories such as earrings and keychains. One of the more recent works she created is a pair of earrings featuring the world-famous BTS meal from McDonald’s!

You can get one of her miniature food artworks for as low as 20 Pesos. If you want to try your hand at making your own miniature creations, they are now also offering DIY kits!
They also offer customized crafts, so if your mom or dad cooks a certain dish that always reminds you of your childhood, you can get it immortalized through these miniature crafts.
