The Rave Never Stops as HYVE NATION Brings You DVBBS Live In Manila
Hyve Nation, who brought you the much talked about ZEDD Moment of Clarity Tour Manila back in December 2013, is cooking up another buzzworthy event this September 4th 2014 by bringing in Canadian DJ, Producer, Songwriter duo DVBBS (pronounced “dubs”) to HYVE for one up-close-and-personal party.
Composed of Toronto-based brothers Alex van den Hoef and Chris van den Hoef, the duo is known for their infectious high-energy performances and playing in large music festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, and most recently Tomorrowland last July. Club bangers Tsunami (in collaboration with Borgeous) and Stampede (together with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike) have garnered much recognition by entering international charts, with Tsunami peaking at number 1 in Belgium, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Tsunami also reached number 1 in the Beatport 100 and charted worldwide in iTunes.
Formed only in 2012, DVBBS has since performed alongside electronic music giants such as Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris, Dragonette, Deadmau5, LMFAO, among others. The duo has cited Reggae, Dub-Reggae, and their various world travels as heavy influences in their distinct sound. Having had collaborations with other fast-rising stars such as Martin Garrix, VINAI, and of course, Borgeous, DVBBS is set to take the electronic music world this year by storm.
