With its romantic and elegant ambiance, The Penthouse 8747 is a great spot for both dinner dates with your significant other and for unwinding with your friends after a long week. So, they’ve added elevated hors d’oeuvres and flavorful plated meals that are perfect for any occasion.
We got to try some of the new dishes on the menu and it was quite a memorable food experience.

They’ve added a few new options to their small plates/hors d’oeuvres. The Wagyu Aburi & Foie Gras was an instant favorite at our table thanks to the tender and juicy torched wagyu tenderloin combined with seared foie gras.

The Upside Down Hainan Nigiri also packs lots of flavor in one bite.

I absolutely loved the savory Oyster Croquettas which are topped with equally flavorful prosciutto.

For appetizers, we highly recommend the Oyster Mushroom Chicharones which is fried to perfection and served with fried basil and mouthwatering spiced vinegar.
The Penthouse 8747 now also serves pizza perfect for sharing, and flavorful pasta dishes such as the Mushroom Fettuccini Tartufata (my personal favorite) and the Uni Carbonara which features udon noodles instead of the usual pasta noodles.

Of course, the entrees also leveled up with the addition of the indulgent Soft Shell Crab Tempura which is served with flavorful Unagi Tamago fried rice, and the savory Boneless Half Peri-Peri Chicken.
For dessert, we enjoyed the New York Cheesecake which was possibly one of the best NY-style cheesecakes I’ve tried in the Metro.
This new food menu is made even better with The Penthouse 8747’s refreshing and tasteful cocktails. If you’re feeling fancy, try a drink from their Sparkling Wine Cocktails!
