Yesterday, The Morning Rush announced that they will be going off air and that their Farewell Week will be from April 4 to 8.
They started their post on social media with, “The end of an era.”
The post added, “We’ll be saying goodbye to #TheMorningRush for now, but don’t worry! You’ll still hear Chico, Hazel, and Markki on different Monster shows. Stay tuned for our updated program schedule soon.”
They ended with “Thank you for over 25 years of fun and laughter, Rushers!”
It turns out it was just an April Fool’s prank.
This morning, the Facebook page said, “Happy April Fools Day! Don’t worry, #TheMorningRush is here to stay on your airwaves for a long time. Your support means so much to us! We love you!”
Good to know that it was just a prank and we’ll be hearing more from Chico Garcia, Hazel Aguilon, and Markki Stroem!
