The Happy Project
The Happy Project is a lifestyle brand that was started by cousins Malen de Jesus and Patrick Martin just last November 2014. With the goal of spreading positivity through inspirational statements, they have come up with multi-purpose pouches that were designed to inspire and share happiness.
My little box of happiness
Upon receiving my happy box from The Happy Project, I instantly smiled because it was nicely packed. I opened the box immediately and found an inspirational note inside. I flipped the card and there I found my name and a short message that said “We hope that these Happy Pouches can be a source of happiness and positivity to keep you doing what you like to do.” A simple message that gave me happy vibes just like that!

The happy vibes continued as I saw the pouches inside. Handmade with love and originally designed, The Happy Project multi-purpose pouches can be used to keep your things organized while having your daily dose of positivity. In my box were three happy pouches of different sizes.

The Happy Project pouches are skillfully made by the Person With Disability work force of DSWD. They work hand in hand with the Rehabilitation Sheltered Workshop of the government’s Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). So think of it this way–every purchase provides support and empowerment to these talented people. A nice idea that benefits all who are involved with the pouches 🙂
As one of the owners Martin shared: “We are really pushing to work on a social entrepreneurship concept. We initially thought that spreading happiness is enough as our cause. But moving forward, we’ve felt that there is an opportunity to further strengthen the vision by helping people in need of sustainable income.”
