One of the things that you could do during your visit is to explore the interesting town of Coron. Drop by Mt. Tapyas and experience the exhilarating view from the top or take a dip to the warm waters of Maquinit Hot Spring. Unlike Manila, there are no jeepneys available in Coron, and you can only make your way through tricycles. Most hotels and resorts in Coron do not have the capacity to let you enjoy your days at the beach — beaches can only be found on the islands, which has to be a couple of minute ride via boat from the port — but Funny Lion compensates that by providing a luxurious pool and jaccuzzi with a calming view of the mangroves. The pool is relatively big and you can quickly do laps while you’re at it. Want to just bask in the sun? They have reclining chairs for your sunbathing and probable drinking spree by the pool.
