Join us this October 24-28 as we celebrate the French language and culture as part of our 31st-anniversary celebration. UP Le Club Français in cooperation with L’Oréal Philippines, Element Boutique Hotel, and the Embassy of France to the Philippines and Micronesia presents La Semaine Française (LSF) 2017: « Nous Sommes Arrivés ! ».
This year, we are putting the spotlight all the way to four other regions of France for an equally gorgeous affair à la française beyond the City of Lights. We will be taking you from the province of Bordeaux to Cannes, Strasbourg, and Nantes through these events:
24 October 2017 | Exhibit Opening

Feast your eyes with the highlights of France’s cultural diversity as we launch LSF 2017. Exhibit runs until the end of the week.
25 October 2017 | Bordeaux: A Taste of France
College of Arts and Letters New Building Room 201, 5:30-7 PM
Learn how far your French pop culture knowledge can take you through an interactive quiz bee. This is open to all high school and college students especially those who are taking up French classes.
26 October 2017 | Cannes: A Night With the Stars
Cinémathèque at Cine Adarna, 2-7 PM
Witness the red carpet roll as we recreate one of France’s notable events: the Cannes Film Festival with a marathon of French films.
27 October 2017 | Strasbourg: A Festival of Culture
Element Boutique Hotel, Makati, 6-10 PM
As LSF comes to a close, join us as we spend a night filled with music, conversation, and spoken poetry. The spotlight is yours!
28 October 2017 | Nantes: LCF Pays It Forward
Children’s Joy Foundation, 10-1 PM
To formally end our celebration, LCF will be paying our blessings forward by holding a storytelling session to child beneficiaries from Children’s Joy Foundation.
