The Chronicles of Narnia is back with fourth installment: The Silver Chair

It’s been 11 years since the first The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe was released in the big screen. A story based on the novel by C.S. Lewis which made children, young adults, and even adults around the world vie for the four Pevensie siblings—Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy—as they uncover a history of themselves they never knew. And in a fantastical world like Narnia, no less.

In the following years, 2008 and 2010 to be exact, two more The Chronicles of Narnia movies were released, Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, respectively. But it’s been six years since we’ve last seen a Narnia movie and, finally, the franchise is set for its big return.

Adapting the fourth book of the Lewis’ franchise, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair is now in the works, although no official release date has yet been announced. We’re hoping soon, though! No word as well yet on the cast, although it has been reported that The Silver Chair is considered to be the franchise’s reboot, and will therefore feature a fresh cast.
