Every year since 1961, the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP-NCR), has awarded ten students who have excelled in academics, leadership, and social responsibility — the likes of the late Sen. Raul Roco, his wife Sonia Roco, and former NCCA executive director Cecile Guidote-Alvarez, to name a few. 

 

The theme for the 2014 NCR search is “Choose to be a hero everyday”. The message we want to send is to be a hero in both ways: EVERYDAY–by doing something simple and ordinary, and EVERY DAY–as in every single day, even when it’s difficult and uninspiring. After all, our country needs both!

The ten outstanding students from NCR will be awarded on May 5 after they go through a three-day formation program.
