When in Laguna, on your way to Pagsanjan Falls, Caliraya Lake, to the gowns/barongs of Lumban, wood carvings of Paete, there is a must-stop place named TEDs. And if you love to eat, read this!
Are you ready for a TED’s adventure?
The exterior is hard to miss.
It has that very relaxed and country vibe to it. My kind of style 😉
When you step in you will be greeted with friendly faces and a knick knack of sorts.
And you definitely know that you will be in for a great food experience. Check out this quote by the MonDay Chefs.
Here is Chef Mon Acosta Urbano, Chef Theodore “Day” Salonga and Gel Salonga. Chef Mon and Day started with MondayChefs.com in 2008, a management consultancy firm that provides creative solutions to new and seasoned restaurant owners. TED’s is one of their own babies, along with Tapeo Spanish Tapas Bar in Fort Bonifacio.
After graduating top of their class, receiving culinary distinction awards, studying cuisine more in Thailand and Beijing and appearing several times on TV shows for cooking demonstrations, they go back to Chef Day’s hometown where he relives the food he has loved from childhood.
These drinks are too cute. There’s Apple Basil, Strawberry Shake, Grape-Ginger, Mandarin and Mango Peach. A great way to start things.
The Ranchero salad and Asian salad (Php 168) look good as they taste. And I guess that’s what good eating is made of – its both visual and yummy. 😉
