When we think about the Laglag Bala scam, we initially think of NAIA. However, more and more stories are surfacing that show that the scam is no longer just concentrated in the airport.
A few weeks ago, we shared a story from a victim who caught his cab driver planting the bullet. Today, we hear yet another story only this time, it was planted in the roro or ship. Check out Val Carlo’s story below:
“Look what i’ve got inside the secret pocket of my bag!? BALA!! Anak ng baka… I just unpacked my things today. Im wondering san galing ito? Before I packed my things going to Marinduque, tinangal ko laman ng secret pocket na puno ng bus tickets.. so alam ko na ang laman lng nun ay susi at earphone lang.. panu ngyari, saan at papanu ngyari? Buti na lng, wala akong dinaanang xray machine going to marinduque and back.. although meron nmn xray machine sa mga roro. Its so happen na nakasakay aq sa van going there, pero dala ko yung bag ko sa roro at umudlip ako, at kay Vlad ako nakasakay pauwi, which is nasa sasakyan yung bag ko.. Laganap na pala ang laglag bala.. kala ko sa NAIA lng..kung cnu man kayong nag lagay ng bala sa bag ko.. sana bumaon tong bala sa utak nyo, naging ofw ako, pero runner na lng ako ngaun. What is happening in this country? Pati sa roro meron na? Hindi na ako magtataka kng sa mga darating na araw, meron na din sa mga bus, jeep or tricycle ng laglag bala.. This will be a lesson for me and to everyone.. mag ingat po tayo lahat.. secure natin lahat ng gamit natin from time to time kahit nasaan man tayo. LORD please heal and help this country..

Rough English Translation:
“Look what I have insite the secret pocket of my bag?! A BULLET!! Son of a cow… I just unpacked my things today. I’m wondering where this came from. Before I packed my things going to Marinduque, I removed all the contents of the secret pocket which was filled with old bus tickets… so I was sure that only my keys and earphones were in it. How and where did this happen? Luckily, I didn’t pass through any x-ray machines going to Marinduque and back. ..although there was an x-ray machine in the roro. It just so happened that I was inside a van going there, but I brought my bag in the roro and fell asleep, I then rode with Vlad on the way home and brought my bag in the van with me.
I didn’t know the scam is already widespread.. I thought it was just in NAIA. Whoever it is that planted this bullet in my bag, I hope you plant this bullet in your brain! I was also an OFW, but I’m mere runner right now. What is happening to this country? The scam happens even in the ship? I won’t wonder if one day this will also happen in the bus, jeep or tricyle. This will be a lesson for me and to everyone…

To whoever dropped this in my bag, what should I do with this? Where can I surrender this? I really wish this bullet gets planted deep into you brain!!! Fight fair..”
Oh no. What’s happening to this country? It seems the scam is being taken to new heights. It really pays to be extra vigilant. Whenever traveling, make sure to keep your pockets secure and don’t EVER let anyone handle your things.
