Tales of Illumina is a 45,000-square-foot indoor theme park that is sure to be loved by people of all ages. This enchanting world features more than 36 Instagrammable and interactive art installations that are perfect for out-of-this-world selfies.
It features a magical, fantastical, and other-worldly theme, which guarantees that this theme park is unlike anything you’ve seen before.
Tales of Illumina opened in December 2021, but they continue to add new must-try features and more interactive experiences. Of course, we just had to check out what was new. So, here’s our experience at Tales of Illumina.
First, we went through the magical Naked Forest, a magical “road” that featured hanging lamps and lots of twigs. It was like walking into a real-life fantasy movie. This area is perfect for channeling your inner fairy goddess!
Then, we were welcomed by Philippine mythological creatures such as the Kapre, and some local heroes from Filipino legends as well. It’s also like a museum for Philippine folklore and mythology since you can also check out the write-ups about the characters.
The magical forest-themed area is brimming with gorgeous twinkling lights and beautiful design—perfect for unique photos for the ‘Gram.
Next, we went on to The Chamber of Dreams which will make you feel like you’re one of the wizards of the Harry Potter universe. It’s like stepping into Hogwarts itself, especially with the magic-themed medieval interiors.
We got to make our own “Magic Goo”, a.k.a. slime with our choice of scent and charms.
There were also other sensory activities in this area, such as the pool of pebbles and the kinetic sand. I admittedly spent lots of time at these sensory activities because it was just so relaxing and satisfying!
You can even get a refreshing “potion” from the bar. Yes, drinkable cocktails are available at Tales of Illumina, too!

Their staff is also extremely helpful with taking the best photos, even giving us tips on how to pose for the cameras.
We also got to encounter classic Filipino stories such as Ibong Adarna and Florante at Laura. If you’re planning to bring your kids, then it’s definitely an educational experience for them as well.
At the end of the tour, you also get to enjoy a fantastic show with gorgeous costumes and amazing production design.
