Memento mori.
It may be a sad thought but it’s the reality of life.
Some go before you, others after you.
One of the saddest though is when you lose a life partner. For 94-year-old retired district court architect Keith Davison, he fought his sadness of losing his wife of 66 years by building a swimming pool at home for neighborhood kids to enjoy.
Apparently, his house feels empty now so he decided to build a swimming pool that also benefits his neighbors.
It’s amazing that he was able to find a channel for his heartbreak. More than that, it benefits a lot of people too.
