Showbiz is such a time-demanding career. Celebrities will rarely have enough time for themselves, let alone for other things outside of show business–like school. This is why it isn’t unusual that celebrities stop going to school altogether to give way for their career.
This is what actress Sunshine Cruz did more than 20 years ago when she got her big break in showbiz. But Sunshine also proves that it’s never too late to get a degree.

A few days ago, the actress posted a video of herself on Instagram as she walked across the stage and received her diploma.

That’s right, Sunshine Cruz is officially a degree-holder.
“I did it!” says the video’s caption.
At 39, the actress was able to receive a degree in psychology from Arellano University through an alternative program that allowed her to do school work even with the demands of showbiz.
Sunshine Cruz shows that even she understands the value of getting a degree from college. She may be a famous celebrity, but she knows the value of a great education.
