The Summit Ridge Hotel is situated at the highest point of Tagaytay. Imagine a steamy hot summer in Manila – unbearable. We drove to Tagaytay for just an hour and here we experienced comfort. The hotel is also situated by the main highway and has a great view of the Taal Lake and the Taal Volcano. Every elevator ride is a treat as it will give you a clear view of the lake. Around the hotel is the word called “convenience.” The hotel building in its own has C2 restaurant.
A few steps outside and you will have Summit Ridge Promenade where you can find restaurants, stores, grocery, CD-R King!, a hardware shop and more!
The rooms at Summit Ridge Tagaytay
The rooms are lined up single loaded. All hotels offer a view of the Taal Lake. Of course, the higher the floor is, the better the view. The rooms are spacious and the corridors themselves. The rooms come with a Balcony so that you can enjoy read a book in front of a great view, sip some champagne and wine with a special someone, etc.
All rooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning units, LCD cable TVs, personal refrigerator, in-room safes, coffee and tea making facilities and free WIFI.

The hotel pretty much has everything you need. At the time we were booked, we witnessed two weddings. One included a ceremony by the extended balcony area outside. It’s like a garden wedding with a “Twilight” theme. Colors were just black, white and red.
Apart from this, they also have the basics for everyone – especially for a sports, health & fitness enthusiast like me!
Health and Recreational Facilities
I love this place! It has Seri Asia (spa) for rest and relaxation, infinity pool for you and your company to enjoy. They also have an in-house gym and an indoor playing courts with taraflex sports flooring, designed for basketball and badminton.

Sometimes, they also play a movie in an outdoor cinema type! When we were there, they played “Life of Pi” Watching a movie under the stars and the cool Tagaytay weather was one great experience! I’m not sure if they are offering this daily, but you can call the reception to ask, or maybe to request it if you like.

Summit Ridge Hotel now offer guests free Yoga and Zumba session every weekend. This compliments C2 restaurant’s Whole Food Power Menu and we highly recommend that our guests proceed to SeriAsia after an invigorating session to sooth their muscles.
Zumba lessons in the morning – it was one great workout!!! fun workout but hardcore when it comes to burning those calories!
