State of Calamity Declared in ParaƱaque for Dengue

With the ever-changing weather, more and more children and adults are getting sick with the flu. Many thought that it was just the bug that has been going around but Dengue cases increased in the Philippines. ParaƱaque just declared State of Emergency due to the increased number of cases and fatalities. According to Mayor Edwin Olivares, there is a confirmed dengue epidemic in the city that had increased 45% from 2018.

From January to September there has been a recorded 1,915 cases in ParaƱaque which include barangays San Dionisio with 324 cases, San Isidro with 276 cases, Ā Moonwalk with 223 cases and San Antonio with 211 cases.
