We love The Crown so we’re looking forward to seeing Spencer, the movie detailing the later years of Princess Diana’s marriage to Prince Charles. Kristen Stewart will be playing the People’s Princess and the internet was surprised at how much the actress looked like her when early photos were released. The first teaser trailer was just released and the resemblance is almost uncanny.

In the trailer, we see Diana arriving at Sandringham, one of the royal residences of Queen Elizabeth II. It’s Christmastime and we see clips of the princess struggling with her marriage and life in the spotlight. Towards the end, she is told, “they know everything,” to which she responds, “they don’t.”
Stewart is joined by Jack Farthing as Prince Charles, Olga Hellsing as Sarah, Duchess of York, Thomas Douglas as John Spencer, 8th Earl Spencer, Mathias Wolkowski as Prince Edward, Oriana Gordon as Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones, Amy Manson as Anne Boleyn, Ryan Wichert as Staff Sergeant Wood, John Keogh as Michael, and Niklas Kohrt as Prince Andrew.
Timothy Spall, Sean Harris, Sally Hawkins, and Richard Sammel are part of the cast in undisclosed roles.
Spencer is directed by Pablo Larraín, who helmed Jackie, also a biographical film that focused on former First Lady Jackie Kennedy. The movie earned Natalie Portman, who played the titular role, a nomination for Best Actress at the Academy Awards.
Spencer will be released this November.
