On its 15th season, the UPLB Development Communicators’ Society, Inc. brings Soundwaves XV: Star in Carillon Announcement Party.
Star in Carillon is a university-wide singing competition that aims to showcase the talents of UPLB students in singing and performing in the spotlight. Moreover, it is a fundraising activity for iRead, a reading campaign for Grade 1 students in Sto. Domingo, Bay, Laguna.
Catch special performances from the Top 16 stars: Ruth Recto, Isabel Santos, Bianca Meer, Kristine Soriano, Gabriel Maulion, Silver Españo, Patrick Daiz, Jian Follante, Leonard Bermundo, Noah Batacan, Julius Fetalvero, Joanne Joven, Hannah Malaluan, Martin Montero, Mirasol Guinto, and Anne Galula.
Watch them battle it out for the Top 10 who will have the chance to perform in the UPLB February Fair.
This year’s Soundwaves will be held on November 16, 2017 at the IC’s Bar and Café in partnership with Tanduay and WhenInManila.com. The event is open to everyone and ticket costs Php180 for regular and Php200 for walk-in. Tickets are inclusive of two bottles of beer and unlimited mixed drinks!
