Soigne Clothing: Closet Staples for Your Wardrobe

 

I have a confession: I cannot shop in big stores When In Manila. You see, with my big love for clothes like the ones from Binkydoodles, I get little panic attacks whenever I enter a huge department store because like Rebecca Bloomwood’s everyday shopping experience, it’s as if the clothes are calling to me. Luckily, I have found a solution for my little problem: invest in closet staples and occasionally splurge on trends. And I know just the place where I can do just that: Soigne Clothing.

Soigne Clothing is an online store that creates closet staples that are never boring and can make any woman feel like a little kid getting her first pink ruffled party dress with little bows that made her first fall in love with fashion. There are a lot of discussions and varying opinions as to what pieces should be labeled as a “clothing staple.” While the usual black LBD, perfect denim jeans for your figure, and so on are on my list, my friend Fern and I found a couple more pieces from Soigne Clothing that are worth the title, as well.

I know that peplums are only a trend, but I cannot help but wish that this trend will just stay forever. The fit and flare cut of peplums are perfect for curvy girls like me, and for skinnier girls like my friend Fern, to create the illusion of curves.

 

 

Fern and I are so used to seeing peplums in dark colors, so seeing this flirty yellow green peplum top from Soigne Clothing is just amazingly refreshing.

I don’t usually play favorites when it comes to clothes, but this sheer pink maxi skirt from Soigne Clothing is making it incredibly hard.
