The Young Software Engineers’ Society is an academic organization based at the University of the Philippines Los Baños that aims to bridge the gap between the academe and the industry. This year, YSES brings you Skyrocket: Soar into a World of Limitless Potential; a Practicum Fair/Job Fair to be held on March 28-29, 2017, in the SU Amphitheater, UPLB, Laguna.
This event is in exclusive partnership with SEO-Hacker, with participating companies namely: Asian Business Solutions Inc., Emerio Philippines, Ideyatech, KooApps, OpenIT, and Stratpoint Inc.
A series of company talks will be done on March 27, 2017(Monday) to kick start the event. Companies will talk about how they operate, their specialties, and what their company can offer you.
Students seeking employment or internship are welcome to visit the companies’ booths. Interviews and on-site examinations can also be done during the fair. Aside from that, the organizers have prepared some activities where students can win various prizes.
