What Is Siklab?

Siklab is an annual benefit gig organized by ASAPHIL-UP. It serves as a fundraiser for “Artreach”, the organization’s annual outreach and arts workshop for kids. Now on its fourth year, Siklab aims to raise awareness for its beneficiaries, while serving as a stage for both rising and professional bands.

Last year, Siklab was held in Today x Future in Cubao, Quezon City with performances from Ang Bandang Shirley, Lions and Acrobats, Anton & The Salvadors, Ourselves The Elves, Slow Hands, Bullet Dumas, Luigi D’Avola and Harlequin Carnivale. The proceeds of the event were given to cancer-stricken kids at Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC). The benfit gig yet again lives up to its name by sparking hope for a better future for these kids

Now, Siklab aims to raise funds for the victims of Supertyphoon Yolanda in Tacloban, Leyte. The team thinks that a benefit gig is very timely and it is never too late to help. This March 1, 2014, in Today x Future, Cubao, the stage would be set for another night of music with this benefit gig, which would be dubbed as “Siklab 2014: Why Control”.
