The 18-year old Canadian singer-songwriter, Shawn Mendes, has arrived in Manila for the Philippine leg of his world tour in the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, March 18.

His fans were quick to welcome him to the country, of course. Many of his avid supporters waited at the airport to catch a glimpse of their idol.
As soon as they caught sight of the ‘Stiches’ singer, it was chaos!

Their efforts were rewarded as Mendes allowed for selfies and pictures with fans as he walked out of the airport.

As evidence of his huge fanbase in the Philippines, the hashtag #WelcomeToMNLShawn has been trending on Twitter since he arrived.
His show on Saturday will be his very first in the country.
Shawn Mendes was discovered after posting videos of himself singing covers on Vine. Some of his hit songs are ‘Stitches’, ‘Treat You Better’, and ‘Mercy’. We are all definitely excited to see him perform these songs, and more, right here in Manila!
