Remember Serena Dalrymple, the adorable “Isa ‘Pang Chickenjoy” child actress who rose to fame in the ‘90s?
Many of us may have memories of Serena as an adorable, bowl-cut sporting kid who won our hearts in the film “Bata, Bata… Paano Ka Ginawa?”, yet you may be surprised to learn that Serena just turned 27 years old!
The former child actress posted a photo of her going down a playground slide, with the caption:
“I may be 27 years old, but that’s not going to stop me from celebrating my birthday like it’s 1997. Thanks for all the birthday wishes!”
Serena, who is Filipino-American, left the local showbiz scene when she was 14 and went to pursue a college degree at the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde. She then moved to the United States and earned a masters degree at Hult International Business School. She now works as a manager for Viacom, the home company of Nickelodeon and Time Warner.
