Selena Gomez made an unannounced appearance at BFF Julia Michaels’ concert last Monday night, much to the delight of the audience. But more surprising than the duet they sang together, was the kiss they shared after the end of their set. Selena herself even posted a snapshot of the moment on her Instagram story:

Right afterwards, the pair were off to get matching tattoos. What the tattoos actually are was kept hidden for some time but just last night the singer revealed the symbols on her Instagram. There were a couple of close-up shots of the tattoos, matching arrows on both of their hands:

There were also some polaroid photos of their trip to the tattoo parlor with a bit of explanation behind the significance of their chosen character. “It’s tatted… my arrow points to you forever,” Selena wrote.

Selena and Julia have been longtime friends, even recently collaborating on a number of songs. Julia helped Selena co-write her recent #1 hit, Lose You to Love Me, as well as Look at Her Now. While Selena similarly helped with Julia’s track Anxiety, which is lovingly referred to as their ‘baby’.
