We all know by now that Pasig is a haven for foodies. However, with so many establishments to choose from and so many food selections being offered, it can really be a challenge to find the perfect restaurant.
Along the street of Kapitolyo, you’ll find this newly-built place called Sede, a cluster of three restaurants with three distinct themes and cuisines.
Cha Tuk Chak
Given it’s name, Cha Tuk Chak provides a taste of Thailand in Manila. They specialize in authentic Thai cuisine with ingredients completely imported from Thailand.
Their bestseller is none other than the Famous Thai Milk-tea (Php150). If you’re not a fan of milk, you may opt to try their Thai Emerald Lemon (Php160) instead. Of course, for coffee lovers, the CTC Signature Iced Coffee is the top hit.
If you’re up for a heavier meal, don’t hesitate to order their version of the Pad Thai (Php320). The generous serving is enough to fill the tummies of 3 people, but the flavor of the noodles will make you beg for more than what your tummy can accommodate.
For dessert, the Shibuya Choco Treasure (Php290)Â is to die for. To be fair, I find all pastries topped with vanilla ice cream delicious. My sweet tooth was in heaven with the pastry’s right amount of sweetness, though, balanced by a wedge of orange. However, I wouldn’t recommend ordering this when you’re alone. Unless you have that big of an appetite for dessert, better bring your bae with you.
Cha Tuk Chak is for those who need to satisfy their Thai cravings or want a cozy place to chill and let the EDSA traffic pass.
