There’s going to be a new “Scooby Doo” reboot and the cast looks amazing

Scooby Doo

A lot of us grew up with Scooby Doo, the cartoon that followed a Great Dane that solved mysteries with his four human friends. We have great news for you if you’re a fan: the show is going to get a reboot and the cast looks amazing!

The reboot will be an animated feature film called Scoob and will see Zac Efron as Fred, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne, Will Forte as Shaggy, and Gina Rodriguez as Velma. Tracy Morgan will join the cast as someone named Captain Caveman. The best casting seems to be for Scooby, though. Frank Welker, who voiced the Great Dane in the 1960’s, will reprise his role.

There’s no word what Scoob will be about exactly, but the four meddling kids and their dog will join other heroes of the Hanna-Barbera universe to save the world from Dick Dastardly, that wily villain in Wacky Races.

Scoob will be released May 15, 2020.
