Sarah Geronimo is the next Filipino singer to be featured on a billboard in New York City.
The singer shared on Twitter, “Thank you so much @SpotifyPH for this opportunity! So honored to be EQUAL PH’s ambassador for October. Keep streaming the Spotify EQUAL PH playlist, and let’s continue to celebrate women, no matter the day!”
The digital billboard is part of Spotify’s Equal campaign, which celebrates women artists from around the world.

Geronimo joins other Filipino performers who have graced Spotify’s billboard. Previously, Nadine Lustre, Julie Ann San Jose, KZ Tandingan, Clara Benin, and Janine Tenoso have appeared on the billboard.
Geronimo took a showbiz hiatus after getting married to Matteo Guidicelli in 2020. Last month, she posted a teaser photo of herself with the text “October 2022” on it. The logos of Viva Artists Agency and Viva Records were also included in the graphic. This October, she released her latest song “Dati-Dati.”
