SANTA CLAUS IS NOT REAL. *collective gasps*
When I found out, at around eight or nine years old, I wasn’t completely devastated, to be honest. I guess I was old enough. And nobody really told me, actually. It was just something I figured out by myself. But I do remember it to be a particularly embarrassing process for me, accepting that new truth. I mean, I fought with classmates who said Ole’ Saint Nick wasn’t real! I was convinced he was, as was the whole reindeer and elf hullabaloo.
