Rupert Grint is going to be a father!
The Harry Potter star is about to build a family with his girlfriend, fellow actress Georgia Groome, who he has been reportedly dating on-and-off for years. According to their rep to E! News, “Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time.”
The couple was allegedly spotted out together recently, with Groome’s “visible” baby bump sparking the pregnancy rumors which the two have yet to confirm themselves.
It’s no secret that Grint has expressed his want to be a father someday, now that he’s reached the age of 30. In an interview with The Guardian back in 2018, he said, “I’d like to settle down and have kids soon. If I had a son, would I call him Ron? It’s quite a good name, but probably not. And Grint’s a tough name to pair a one-syllable first name with.”
