Rita Daniela is going to be a mom!
The actress-singer made the announcement on the GMA variety show “All-Out Sundays” on June 26 before thanking the network for their support.
“I’m so happy and proud to say that I am soon to be a mother,” she had said. “Wala naman po akong planong ilihim ito. (I really have no plans of hiding this.) Naghanap lang po ako ng tamang oras para sabihin (I was just finding the right time to announce it) and to share the new blessing in my life.”
Later on, Rita posted about her pregnancy on her Instagram page by sharing a picture of a sonogram and penning a message to her child.

“My child, you came just in time. You are God’s greatest gift to me. You give me hope to make more dreams COME true. I shall do anything and everything that’s best for you. Always.”
“Nanay (Mom) will always make sure that you have a heart for people and joy in the Lord,” she added. “I can’t wait to meet you, anak (my child). Ngayon pa lang, mahal na mahal na kita.♡ (Even this early, I already love you so much.)”
Rita’s onscreen partner, Ken Chan, also posted on his own Instagram page to congratulate Rita on this new chapter in her life and to assure her that he will always be there to help and support her.
“To you and your baby, miracles are worth their weight in gold, if not many times more. I’m here if you need anything at all, as a friend, as someone you can always rely on. I pray to God for the utmost positivity, protection, support and love to surround you and your baby,” he said.
“As a friend, as someone who cares, I’ll always be here for you no matter what. You’ve always been incredible and strong, and certainly, You. You’ve got this, and without a doubt, you will only continue on to be that much more incredible, always. I am so proud of you.”

Rita has been rumored to be in a long-term relationship with a non-showbiz partner. However, she did not disclose any details regarding said partner in her pregnancy posts.
