Rilakkuma, one of the most beloved Sanrio characters, is coming back to Netflix for an all-new season of its adorable animated series!
It was in April 2019 when the stop-motion animation Rilakkuma and Kaoru premiered on the global streaming platform. It followed the everyday adventures of a disgruntled office worker and her friends Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma, and Kiirotori as they all go through life together coping with relatable challenges.
Because of its relatability and heartwarming moments, it’s no wonder why it became the second most-viewed program on Japanese Netflix in 2019! And now, they’re making their much-awaited return with Rilakkuma’s Theme Park Adventure!
Spanning eight episodes, Rilakkuma’s Theme Park Adventure will follow our furry and feathery friends visiting a theme park that’s about to close and encountering many different people during their day out. It’s unknown when the series will premiere, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for updates.
