Rihanna is back and she’s returning in a big way: she will perform at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show.

To tease her fans for her return, Apple Music just released an official trailer for her performance.

Watch it below:

The video begins with soundbites of people clamoring for Rihanna’s return. A voice says, “It’s been two thousand hundred ninety days,” while another adds, “Rihanna, we’ve waited for you.” The singer walks towards the camera, puts her finger to her lips, and the video ends with her song “Needed Me” playing.

Rihanna’s last album is Anti, which was released in 2016. She kept busy with her Fenty line of clothing, skincare, and makeup. She also appeared in the films Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets and Ocean’s 8, and released her autobiographical book Rihanna. In 2022, she announced her pregnancy and gave birth to a boy with her partner A$AP Rocky.

She was featured on a few songs after Anti, such as DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts” with Bryson Tiller in 2017 and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Believe It” in 2020. In 2022, Rihanna released her first single since her last album: “Lift Me Up,” which was included in the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie soundtrack.
