Mixed Doubles Grand Slam titleholder Richard Gasquet is moving through the ATP World tour Quarterfinals in Paris after Kei Nishikori retired at the end of the second set.

Gasquet was leading two sets, 2-0, before Nishikori decided to voluntary retire from the match, advancing Gasquet to his next quarterfinals match against Scottish tennis player Andy Murray.
Game score of the two sets are: 7-6 for the fist set, and 4-1 for the second set.
Gasquet will be heading the newly-branded Philippine Mavericks in the upcoming second season of the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) this December along with World No. 1 in women’s singles Serena Williams.
