ReVeluvs, we have great news for you: Irene will be starring in her very first movie!
Irene will be starring in Double Patty, a coming-of-age movie that witnesses the growth and development of young girls. Irene will be playing an aspiring anchorwoman.
Double Patty is expected to start shooting in August, with a target release date of the end of the year.
This is not Irene’s first acting role. She previously starred in the web drama Women at a Game Company.
In terms of music, it was announced earlier this year that Irene and fellow Red Velvet member Seulgi will form the girl group’s first subunit. Their partnership, named Red Velvet – Irene & Seulgi debuted this month with their album Monster.
