Get ready to let your hair down as Lex Athenia Victoria, Inc. (LAV), in partnership with Repertory Philippines, presents Rapunzel! Rapunzel: A Very Hairy Fairy Tale.
This play is brought to you by Rogers and Hammerstein Production, directed by Joy Virata, and will feature the book, lyrics, and music by Janet Yates Vogt and Mark Friedman.
Visit an enchanted fairytale land with dragons, a handsome prince, an evil Queen, a really great hair stylist, and that famous princess with long, long, long hair trapped in a tower deep in the forest. On their quest to find the perfect head of hair, will Sir Roderick and his hair stylist friend Edgar manage to rescue Princess Rapunzel and restore the kingdom?[1]
On its third year of hosting children’s plays, LAV continues to partner with our beneficiaries – Children’s Hour, Childhaus, and Bata Foundation. This event is also a fundraising effort for the support of LAV’s Bar Operations for the coming November Bar Examinations. LAV is composed of female law students, lawyers, and alumni of Ateneo De Manila University School of Law, composing a network of more than 150 lawyers and lawyer hopefuls committed to the advocacies of women empowerment and becoming women for others.
The event will be on October 13, 2018, 4:30 PM at the Onstage Theatre, Greenbelt 1, Paseo de Roxas cor. Legaspi Street, Makati City.
