Ralph Lauren launches Polo face masks and its the ultimate tito accessory

And bonus: the brand donates a percentage of its proceeds to the World Health Organization

With the ongoing pandemic, face masks have become a necessity for everyone. That’s why many versions are being offered in the market—from disposable medical masks to cloth masks made of neoprene, cotton, or even silk!

But beyond appearances, the importance in every face mask is the user experience. That includes comfort, breathability, and its main purpose: to keep you protected against airborne viruses and germs. It’s exactly why practicality and aesthetics need to work together.

And Ralph Lauren has done just that.

The clothing brand introduced its new line of face masks: the Polo Cloth Mask Collection. It features a moldable nose bridge, a breathable cotton inner lining, and two layers of non-woven fabric for extra protection. With 80% particle filtration, that is. Currently, there are two versions available: the classic Polo cloth mask and the Polo high-filtration mask.

But, that’s not all. Each Ralph Lauren mask is made with its trademark fabric and embroidered logo. Not just the classic blue, but we’re talking about 13 of the brand’s most iconic fabrics. You can see more of the designs here.

In addition, Ralph Lauren will be donating its profits (which is at least 40% of its purchase price) to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. This applies to all masks sold through December 31, 2020. As of writing, no prices have been indicated for these masks, and the brand’s line of Polo high-filtration masks will also be released sometime during Fall 2020.

There may not be news if these masks will be available locally, but fingers crossed they come to the Philippines!
