Looks like we’re hearing wedding bells for the Kill Bill director soon!
Quentin Tarantino is set to wed Israeli singer and model Daniela Pick.
The 54-year-old director met Daniela, 33, in Israel while he was promoting his movie Inglorious Basterds.
The couple has since dated on and off since 2009.
According to Hollywood reports, Quentin popped the question to his long-time girlfriend last week.
Daniela herself confirmed the news on Israeli website Ynet:
“It’s true. We’re very happy and excited.”
Meanwhile, Daniela’s father Svika Pick, also a popular Israeli singer and composer, said
“Yes, there is joy in our family. They got engaged. We have wished them mazel tov (congratulations).”
The filmmaker has previously stated in interviews that he did not know whether he was going to get married:
“I’m not saying that I’ll never get married or have a kid before I’m 60. But I’ve made a choice, so far, to go on this road alone.
Because this is my time to make movies. When I’m doing a movie, I’m not doing anything else. It’s all about the movie. I don’t have a wife. I don’t have a kid. Nothing can get in my way. The whole world can go to hell and burst into flames. I don’t care.”
